About the Organization
This organization is an established retirement community in Costa Rica, near ISL headquarters. The community houses expansive physical therapy facilities, open spaces, living and recreational spaces, and a clinic surrounded by lush tropical gardens.
Assignment
1. Assist in morning exercises
2. Help move residents between various spaces at the facility
3. Prepare residents for therapy sessions
4. Accompany residents on therapeutic walks
5. Gain skills with physical therapy equipment
6. Participate in recreational activities with residents
Internship Requirements
1. Have basic knowledge in physical therapy or medical care (training will be provided on-site)
2. Be a self-starter
3. Collaborate well with others, work well on a team
4. Have a basic knowledge of Spanish
5. Must possess professionalism and be willing to represent ISL and the US well
Spanish not required but suggested. Lunch will be provided daily
