This program is suitable for nurses and nursing students. The goal of ISL's nursing program is to learn about local health care challenges, experience Mexican culture, and gain perspective on the global landscape. Volunteers will have the opportunity to learn about the nursing profession in a Mexican context, work alongside nurses to assist with patient care in the hospital, clinic, and community settings, and provide basic triage and first aid education in ISL partner communities in Puerto Peñasco.
